Parfums de Marly has become one of the most recommended niche houses for a reason, with Layton, Herod, Pegasus and Delina leading the way. They are polished, long-lasting and not cheap, which makes trying one as a decant the sensible move before committing to a full bottle that runs well over two hundred dollars.

Every PDM decant here is decanted from a genuine bottle, never diluted, in 1mL to 30mL sizes. Layton is the usual starting point and worth a proper week on your skin, but Herod, Pegasus and Carlisle are all worth testing before you decide which one earns the full bottle.

One honest note: these are widely loved, but widely loved does not mean right for you. Layton is famously easy to like, which also means a lot of people buy it blind and then wonder why it feels a little safe. Wearing it first tells you if it is the one.
